The round pools and the octagonal pools which are 120cm deep can be installed above the ground. If the pools are 150cm deep they should be at least 50cm in-ground. We recommend you to make a backfill with drier concrete (10-15cm thick) around the in-ground part of the pool.

The depth of the excavation is calculated as follows: poolnheight + width of the concrete foundation (20 cm) - how much will appear above ground.

Example: The height of the pool (1.50 m) + thickness of the concrete foundation (20 cm) - how will appear above the ground (10 cm) = 1.60 m

The foil of the swimming pool should be isolated from the concrete. This is how the early loss of flexibility of the foil is prevented. The foil flexibility worsens as a result of invisible chemical pollutions on the concrete floor.

To isolate the foil, special nylon is used or a textile padding (geo-filtz). We would recommend the textile padding because it may level small uneven patches on the swimming pool bottom. Moreover, thanks to the textile padding, the bottom becomes softer which makes its use more pleasant.

If the foil is damaged, we suggest a special glue. You do not even have to drain the water from the swimming pool. The place where the foil is damaged, it can be sealed under the water.

The liner is produced in Germany and when you use it correctly it can lasts 12 to 15 years. Also the offered by us liner is homogeneous, which means that each part of it is 0.60mm or 0.80mm thick. Very often you can found liners of other companies which not correspond to that.

The pools with liner have one essential advantage over the others. It is in their long life and how they look like. Any material amortizes through the years. Unlike other types of pools, the pools with a liner look like a new when you change the liner. When you want your pool to look different, you can order by us the colour you want.

Other pools (for example of polyester or polypropylene) amortize after 10 to 15 years. But you can’t change only one detail, you should buy a new swimming pool.

Because the very small fragments which are in the water can’t be stopped by the sand in the filter. In this case use flocculant (coagulant) to eliminate the cloudiness. Also, while cleaning the bottom of the pool you can put the valve of the filter in position “backwash”. In this case, the pool will lose some water, but you will get rid of the small fragments.
